He was amazing and we had a fabulous evening
Unfortunately, heavy snow was forcast for Thursday and when we left home it had already started to come down.
Usually I love snow and get squealy when it starts to fall, but when we had to drive the 2 hours to London it was actually a little worrying!
We got to London ok but the drive back was quite bad. When we left around 11.30pm it had already been snowing for a while. The roads on the way out of London were treacherous, all cars were finding it difficult to drive and we barely got above 30 mph. It took us about 3 hours to get home, I seriously had visions of us having to sleep on the side of the road! It seems quite a few people had to do this so we were quite lucky we actually made it home!
