Sock Shopping

Much to my surprise Has has agreed to one of my silly ideas and has said he will wear purple socks!

I've turned to my trusted wedding planning companion - the internet, and have found a few possibilities.

1,  Plain Violet Ribbed Socks from Paul Smith. 2, Gant Purple Cotton Socks from John Lewis. 3, Gant Fine Stripe Socks from John Lewis. 4, Purple Pantone Socks from Sock Shop, 5, Purple silk blend longer length socks from Debenham.

I'll take my sock shopping list to Has and see which one he likes best.  I'm swaying towards the John Lewis socks, just because they are the closest purple.  I wonder if I could get the best men to agree to wearing purple socks?

Tie Guy or Cravat Chap?

There's nothing better than a gorgeous man in a gorgeous suit, I'm sure most girls will agree!

I'm very excited about suit shopping for Has, much more than I was about sorting out my own togs for the wedding.

I want to try and stay away from the traditional wedding look and go for something a little different.  For starters I'm not a huge fan of cravats, don't get me wrong I think it looks really smart but I'd much rather Has wore a tie. To be honest I think he's much more of a tie guy than a cravat chap.

I seems we are both on the same page, when it comes to the suits.  We both like dark charcoal grey suit, with a dark waist coat and purple tie to match the colour scheme.  Obviously the colours are wrong but this is the style I like.

I also really like the look of a dark waistcoat once the suit jacket comes off.

I can't wait to suit shop!

The Groom's Get Up

I've always said that it will be down to Has to decide what the men in our wedding party should wear, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have my own ideas.

I really like the relaxed looked for men, obviously they should all look smart but I don't think that necessarily means top hat and tails.

I'm not sure where I stand with cravats, I guess I'll have to see Has in the complete look to form a better opinion but lets just say they don't excite me!

I'd rather Has wore a tie with a nice suit.  Sort of like this, I'm not crazy about the suit but I love the colour of the tie.
